What is Inter-Stock System?
Inter-Stock is a Worldwide Electronic Trading System,
designed to help businessmen from all around the world to find some new
local / international partners. Our system is an example of a "horizontal
b2b resource" and covers all main branches of production. Our customers
range from private entrepreneurs to big international enterprises.
Our major task is helping businessmen form all around the world to find
easily and quickly some new buyers / distributors / manufacturers of any
kinds of goods, produced anywhere in the world. Today Internet is not
just progressive, but also the cheapest and the most comfortable way of
finding any kind of information, including trading.
That's the reason why our service has been started. We offer you to benefit
from using our system - first Russian multilingual* site with it's own
international trading database (* at the moment we support Russian and
English).

What are database and offers?
Every offer has got the following structure:
- Headline (offer's subject)
- Some details
- Full description
- Posting information
- Special form for sending an e-mail letter to the author of an offer (available only for registered users)
Inter-Stock's database includes all the offers ever
posted on our site. The offers are grouped by categories and subcategories.
To find an offer matching your request you can use several features:
- Search by keywords, company name, category, offer's
ID. You can also specify the date of posting / expiry date. You can go
to Search page from the main page of Inter-Stock.org.
- List of categories on the main page. Clicking on some category, you
get to the subcategory list, form where you can go to offers list that
will match your interest.
- You can also go to the offers list by choosing one of offers' types
(seller / buyer / agent) in the appropriate section on the main page.
You can send an e-mail to the author of any offer directly
from the offer's page using special form below. This feature is available
only after passing the authorization (after you have entered your name
and password in the login section of the main page). If you are not registered
in our system you cannot contact with the person, who posted an offer
you liked. That's why we advise you to go through our free registration
straight away. You can go to Registration page

What is a product and how it differs from an offer?
Product is an offer to sell specific goods. When you
post a product instead of an offer, you can upload a photo as well. Also
you can indicate more parameters when posting your product.

or use a Product Search feature on the Search page.

The structure and usage of the site
Main Page
Main page of Inter-Stock.org is where you start the utilization
of our site. All main features and functions are available from the main
page. If you ever need help while using our system you can go to corresponding
item in this Help-FAQ Page or read the "Our Services" page.
Also there are two sections on the main page - Hot offer and Hot product . These
are an additional free way for you to advertise your posting. The content of this sections
are last offers and products added by our users.

Registration
Registration on our server is required for the
following:
- sending an e-mail to a person who posted an offer you've chosen
- access to "My Panel" page from where you post your offers,
update/correct them etc.
During the registration process you must fill all the
fields marked with "*" and advisably the rest of the fields.
The key parameters you will enter are user name and password. Those will
become your personal authorization instruments on our site.

Login (enter to "My Panel" section for registered users)
To access your personal page on Inter-Stock ("My
Panel") and a letter sending form (on any offer's page) you must
pass the authorization on our site. You can do it from the main page of
Inter-Stock.org by entering your user name and password into corresponding
fields.
In case you forgot your password we can send it to your e-mail address,
which you entered during the registration. To use this feature simply
click "forgot password?" on the main page.
After passing the authorization you automatically go to "My Panel",
from where you manage all your offers / products and post new ones.

My Panel
My Panel is your personal page where you manage your
offers and personal information, which includes:
- Posting new offers / products
- Updating / removing previously posted offers / products
- Changing your personal information (which you entered during the registration)
- Subscribing to "Inter-Stock by e-mail" (new offers will be
sent to your e-mail)
- Access to additional services of our site

Search feature
You can get to the search page by selecting from the main menu of Inter-Stock.org
The updated search system was launched in November 2002. It will not only let you find a needed offer or product easily and quickly, but also customize the look of search results page.
Search parameters:
- Category to search in.
- Offer Type: buy, sell, agent or cooperation. The system searches in all offer types by default.
- Keyword. The system will go through the offers' subjects (themes) and detailed texts looking for your keyword.
- Search in. Define the scope of your search by selecting language sectors and/or content types (offer or product). The flags are set by default according to your current language interface.
Customizing the look of the search results page:
- Show. Choose how you would like the reuslts page to appear: with themes of offers and products only or with themes and brief details.
- Results on 1 page. Define how many search results you would like to see on one page.
Furthermore, once you have customized the look of the results page, the parameters will be set by default next time you enter.

Inter-Stock User Rating
Inter-Stock User Rating System has been launched in
October of 2002. Before becoming public this page functioned as an
admin page, helping the staff to observe the users' activity. Now it
is visible and a competing element is added.
The table of rates shows the names of 20 companies
(registered in our database) who use our trading system most intensively.
At the end of every week the leader of the rating gets a free advertisement
place in the special box on our main page. The name of the company and it's
business field refer to the page where all the offers and products posted
by this company are shown.

Newsletter Archive
Inter-Stock mailing archive is a place where you can
find all the weekly news reports sent to our users. Every time we launch
some new feature or update an old one we report about it in our newsletter.
So if you are not a registered user yet, the archive will guide you through
the newest events in our trading system.
If you are a registered user these newsletters are sent to your e-mail
automatically.
If you are not, but want to receive them, you can simply fill the newsletter
form on the main page.
